Adding an item to basket
When you've found what you want to buy, click on 'add'
to add the product to your basket. You can always remove
the item later if you decide not to buy it.
Once you have registered, you will be taken back to
the shopping basket and the item will already have been
added to your basket.
You can now continue to add items to your basket or
proceed to checkout for purchasing.
Changing what's in your basket
You can see your basket quantity and total at the top
of each webpage, and you click the 'view basket' link
at the top of the page to view the description, price
and quantity selected of each item currently in your
basket.
You can change the quantity by entering the amount
you want or by clicking 'remove' (see 'how do I cancel
my order').
How do I cancel my order?
You can remove items from you basket before you have
placed your order:
" Click on the 'view basket' link at the top of
the page.
" Type in '0' in the 'Qty in basket' box next
to each item.
Click on the 'recalculate' button.
How do I order to different address?
Once you have added the products you wish to purchase
to your basket, click on the 'Continue to checkout'
button.
Here you will have the option to 'Deliver to a different
address', click on this button and fill in the new address.
Once you have completed this, click on 'Continue' and
go through to checkout.
After you have submitted your order.
As we are offering a variety of items for sale, postage
and packing charges can vary greatly - a learned book
is heavier than a CD which is, in its turn, heavier
than a pamphlet. Due to the options available to us
with our shopping cart, delivery charges are calculated
according to the number of items ordered and, while
the shop is in its early days, an average price has
been instituted which reflects the postage, the packing
and the staffing cost.
We are monitoring the charging process and if we feel
that p&p is excessive on any combination of items,
we will offer a refund. Please bear with us during this
early stage and if you have any problems, please contact
us to discuss them at folkshop@efdss.org

Delivery:
We will endeavour to despatch with 48 hours of receiving
your order. In the UK they are sent by first-class mail.
Delivery will take between 24 hours and 28 days depending
on the method selected and the world geographical location.
If an unusual situation such as a lack of stock occurs
we shall contact you directly. If we have a delay on
delivery for any reason, you are entitled to cancel
the order without penalty providing that it has not
already been dispatched
Carriage Charges.
As carriage charges are added at the checkout, and
are as above.
Payment:
We accept Visa (all types) andMaster card, Credit or
Debit payment is not taken until the day the goods are
shipped. All prices are shown as an 'invitation to treat'
Tax:
All prices are inclusive of UK VAT (currently 17.5%
for standard items). This is levied on all goods shipped
within the European Community. For countries outside
of the EC, the tax is removed by us prior to shipment.
This can be calculated by dividing the price by 1.175.
Terms & Conditions of Trade
We will use our best endeavours to keep all of our customers
happy, to supply them with the right goods, at the right
price within an agreed timescale. Occasionally things
do go wrong. We promise to do our best to ensure that
if we do make an error, we will do our utmost to put things
right.

How do I return goods?
Guarantee:
Should you need to return the item for any reason,
please contact us for a "returns authorisation".
We are happy to refund the cost of any article should
it not be satisfactory for any reason. The goods must
be in an unused state with undamaged and original packaging
and we should be notified within 14 days of your receipt
of the goods. If there is a fault with the goods we
shall undertake to replace the item at our discretion.
The replaced item will be shipped back to you free of
charge. The basis for the guarantee will be that as
supplied by the manufacturer. This guarantee is in addition
to your statutory rights which remain unaffected. Any
contract will be governed by English law E&OE
